Heart Beacon was inspired by the life saving mission of the Emergency Coordination Center in Portland, Oregon. The sculpture senses the heartbeats of visitors who enter the enclosure through electronic touch points. Seeing these heartbeats displayed within the sculpture reminds us of the value of each individual life. With Joe O'Connell.
