Philosopher's Stone 2014 Sino-Ocean Chengdu, China Stainless steel, LED lighting, electronics 5’ x 5’
Commissioned by a private collector, Philosopher’s Stone is installed in Chengdu, China. The three lobed organic form represents growth and change. The surface of the artwork displays a multilingual poem by the poet Wordsworth. Projection lighting spills out of the sculpture and onto the surrounding visitors and surfaces.
